• landlord means the owner of the house or apartment that someone pays rent to.

Dictation #2

• Richmond is the name of a town.

Dictation #3

• …from and around Chicago. This is not grammatical, but sometimes that happens in natural speech. He probably meant to say something like “…from OR around Chicago.”

Dictation #4

• claim is a very formal word meaning say.
